it felt somewhat forced upon, but nice to see the plot moving

As stupid as she was for everything else, I think she's even stupider for falling in love with him. I mean, why? After all the cold, shallow things he's said to her, how he's basically admitted that he doesn't care if she doesn't love him as long as she gives him her body... who could fall in love with someone like that?

@Raudhbjorn you asshole do you not understand that she didn’t fucking post a “wanted men married to cheat on your wife with me ❤️“ sign but was deceived into thinking they were in a committed relationship? The moment she found out she was the other woman she left them, I would understand you being such a bitch about it if she had no shame about it and enjoyed making other men cheat but she literally had no fault in those assholes choosing to lie and cheat on their wives. Ugh, such a bother to see incels in manga chapters commenting shit like this

@Caniwi

A) I'm not an incel.

B) She's an idiot. If it only happened once or twice I could understand her and agree with you. BUT IT HAPPENED EVERY FUCKING TIME. That's not "They lied to me!", that's "I'm too stupid to learn from my mistakes" . She might as well be bitching about every man she's dated turned out to be a wife abuser. That's not a "men are all assholes" situation, that's a "This is my type" issue.

A) It sure as hell doesn’t look like it, though.

B) I think we can all agree that she is an idiot, not the issue here though, because you are speaking as if she was malicious in her actions towards the spouses of the men she has been with until now. Also, it has happened 3 times, she specifically said so in the manga, so it’s weird for me how you are like ‘one or two times I could understand’ but 3 is apparently over the limit and unforgivable? And of course they fucking lied to her? Her being stupid doesn’t make those men any less guilty or not assholes for what they did. You trying to shift blame here to somehow make it all her fault is what makes me believe you are an incel, or in the very least an asshole. Also, it’s clear that her naivety and foolishness was her downfall in those relationships, so her learning from it now that she has someone that won’t do the same is how she will improve. Imagine blaming someone that was gaslighted and used for her body and UNDERSTANDABLY is pissed. If she was a man that was used by women I bet my ass that you would be praising him for his ‘innocence’ and ‘trust’ and badmouthing the cheating women lol

I like that Koharu has finally sorted through and confronted her true feelings, and that she's now attempting to deal with them responsibly. That's rare in a romance manga protagonist of any sort. And at this point, the arc of her initial, clueless resistance has dragged on long enough. I mean, I kind of hate that she's in love with Ryuu, who still seems in every way like a warm bag of wet shit... But I accept that R x K is this story's main ship.

Also, while the writing has emphasized Koharu's foolishness at every turn, I don't see her as an "idiot" (her loving husband's description). I see her as a naive young girl who doesn't yet know herself or the world very well. She's clearly not a genius, but I'd say she seems pretty normal, overall. Even as a straight male reader, I still like and relate to her more than any of other characters.

This is what I thought too but man the iirc the ending was so bad, I liked her character up to that point 🥲
