That must have resulted in a very genuine show, which didn't escape the judge's eyes. It was also better it wasn't an effort to try to copy the original musical, yet still had the rain in the background. It's more creative to make it your own. I wonder how much effort the winner put in it. Also, I guess only the winner got any prize money, the rest from the second place got a thank you for participating letter, so Nagai won't be able to pay back anything.

I don't wanna be a spoiler (and it's hard to explain what happened in a few words).
If you are interested in it, you can read Love at Fourteen first. I don't know if you've read it yet. It includes stories that happened before Harmony.
Then read Reliance, another spin-off story about Haijima. Take note that it has a very different style from Harmony, even though they were composed by the same author at the same time. The 'something' I mentioned happened in recent updates.
