Wait, you can't tell me those third-years are now going to join in against first-years in a match entirely unrelated to them and in top condition against people that already played a half 1 member down even who happens to be injured 😐

Most of times, it's normal to see the big names play in irrelevant friendly matches to sharpen or maintain their match fitness. You can see it in most of pre-season friendlies.

But in this particular case, it's just their ego and pride that "force" them to take a part in the game lol.

All of that is irrelevant though, considering they're playing that match, because THEY'RE wanting to have them close the club, so the third-years have even less right to take part in it 😐

Especially in the second half, when they're in peak condition unlike fmc's team

Bringing up who has a "right" and who hasn't is a fallacy here. That has nothing to do with the rules of the game. Both teams have a right to do whatever they want to do within the rules of the match. The reason for the match doesn't matter.
So we know in this match the year doesn't matter. First years, second years, third years, all can play. So there goes that point. As for substitutions, the standard rules say 5 substitutions + 1 in extra time + concussion injury substitutions in 3 regular opportunities + half time breaks. However private small clubs doing friendly matches can agree to whatever they want. Unless specified in a future chapter, we can assume they went with the standard, which means their team could substitute up to 5 players right now for third years and that's within the rules.
Going about how unfair it seems is just crying.

Friendly matches often don't limit their subs quota, so Bara no En theoretically can bring all of their regulars in in the second half. It's all fair, you can bring your bests in any time; but it's increasing the risk of "pointless" injury (because it's not an official match). That's what managers and fans usually concern.

Ah, I understand. If Ronaldo play in non official, the opponent just rush at him. Hurt him as big as possible, even make him can't play in official match like world cup. The one who got red card from that is just can't play in current match. Reality is harsh....

That's what happened to Reus in 2014 right before the WC.
