There's one star player, no one else really has much experience and kinda just suck, the manager is an annoyance who most certainly does not know how to manage a team and also is antagonistic to the entire team, and now there's just a girl who always wears a giant pudding costume here to play?

Dude, calm down. Be nice to the noob characters. The first match pretty much a tutorial for reader and has club problem. Now problem solved, they can focused on training. maybe next match fine.
