In this manga, being an utter weirdo is directly proportional to footballing ability. Therefore, it's a given the pudding will be a starter, but which position? I guess she'll be a winger?

Or maybe she's fully aware of the rules the footballing gods have set out, and is wearing the pudding custome in a desperate bid to appear weird enough to be blessed with footballing skills, but then it turns out she's completely normal outside of the costume and just average with the ball?

We have the original starting 11 + 5 more (pudding girl, the two gyarus, Miyabi and Mio) + likely 1 more (Kasumi as her withdrawal paper was ripped along with Mio's), and with nobody else signaling that they want to withdraw, this gives us exactly the minimum of 17 that Tomomi wanted. I assume this means we're not far from the next match.

Feel like this manga needs a warning at the start of each chapter to remind everyone that this is very very very much not how you make a nationally ranked football team. There's one star player, no one else really has much experience and kinda just suck, the manager is an annoyance who most certainly does not know how to manage a team and also is antagonistic to the entire team, and now there's just a girl who always wears a giant pudding costume here to play?
