Thanks for the chapter as always! I think there’s a tiny typo on page 8. In the second panel, it looks like Haruka is comparing ice milk to itself (see middle dialogue).

Not sure if it was a typo, maybe our Kappa-sensei was to excited to even check the bill properly. And I can really relate to this chapter: buying lots of ice cream and eat them without a care, as an adult :meguusmug:

Thanks for the new chapter.

Ice at night is not unhealthy - unless you're one of those people who easily get an upset stomach. Another one of those weird Japanese superstitions like getting sick just from getting wet.

Also, most of those (probably all?) are real products, I recognize most of them from Japanese stores. In particular, the one with the guy with the giant mouth is Garigari-kun. Gari Gari is the sfx of crunching ice with your teeth, and Haruka uses that sfx a couple times while crunching down on it.

Used to holiday in Japan in the summer months, and the south asian konbini staff and midnight ice cream is giving me flashbacks

[redacted]. But, The way of the Buddha is moderation.
Even with moderation, sugars in your bloodstream are extremely toxic for your body. I am someone who loves cakes and desserts, and I've learned to avoid them 100%. It was not easy, but I've never felt better in my life, give it a try.
