Very lovely chapter. I've thought often too about how unfortunate or sad things in my life have lead to relationships that I cherish, that I would never trade for the chance to have avoided that pain. It can be a helpful perspective. But, like she says, everything in moderation. Being too grateful for suffering will leave you disappointed or emotionally masochistic lol.

Yea, so it might just be crystallization in the inner ear (in the balance part of the ear), that can make you dizzy at times and is reasonably 'incurable'.
(Or low blood pressure, which is pretty age-related - but could be medicated away.. but she might not have the money.)
