Felt really real to life: we have moments of growth, where when we remain imperfect afterwards or even some of our behaviors revert back, those moments remain important to us. As usual, this manga shines in showing the small things.

i really don’t gaf about maruyama's love life or who he ends up with (if he even ends up with anybody) but all the romance aside this was a surprisingly sweet chapter that helps to give you some insight on maki’s character & why she is the way she is. neat. but that’s this manga for you. it’s good at stuff like that

This is the manga with fart and poop jokes. At the same time, it discusses extremely serious topics (homophobia, caring for the elderly, starting over after divorce, respecting people with physical scars, domestic violence, having the courage to leave a stable job). It's amazing.

I really like Maki but I don't feel like Maruyama will ever reciprocate. I'm looking forward to what author has planned for her though.

She's a huge underdog in the Maruyama bowl, and I can't say I can cheer for her in that regard.

But I can cheer for her as a human being and it's nice to see some insight into why her personality's so brusque and brash. Personal life-wise, she's done really well for herself considering the bad situation.

Personally I still feel Akane is his best pairing as they already know each other as working adults and Akane is even friends with Haruko so they can hang out together with the siblings
