Hold up- did yuki marry Nishi? It's been 10 years and the kid looks like he's about 7 years old. Either it took 3 years of them getting together or she rejected him and went with someone else. I CANNOT imagine Yuki as an office worker. Ain't no way

Three years to get together AND make a bebe. Gives the author ample wiggle room for shenanigans about how many times they can meet up without really learning about each others. (They could get together tomorrow - or it might take even more than three years only they have to have an accidental one-night stand along the way.)

As for OL, what else should she make once hubby gets unemployed? Someone has to be the breadwinner, so if she manages to return to the job she got after school, more power to her?
(There's not that many jobs in the MMA circuit in Japan or whatever you imagined )
