Also, I thought the timetables were sort of an Almanac for train departures and arrivals on specific lines for a specific time period. Turns out it was a scheduled version in advance. Man, the Japanese really did perfect their train lines to have them publish their schedules in advance (barring unexpected delays, of course). Unfortunately, for someone living in such a disorganized country like me, one can only dream.
