Having difficulty logging into account on another device

I was logged out of my main device and when I tried to log in it said that I need a one-time password.

I thought it meant a Google Authenticator one, but that didn't work.

How can I fix this issue?

Did you set up a one-time password?

If I did, I don't remember it.

I mean I did sign up for the two-factor password. Anything else, no.

One time password/totp/otp/authenticator code are all names for basically the same thing. If you enabled it for your account you need to provide it when prompted.

I have, but it keeps saying it's wrong, when I input it.

I reset the Authenticator by rescanning the QR code. But it didn't work either.

Is there a way to turn off the authentication process to log into my device again and then turn it back on?
