The dad is trying to offer up his daughter to incentivize mc to stay which should make him scum, but he hates doing it, he’s doing it for his people, and it’s what his daughter really wants which kinda makes pairing mc up with his daughter commendable. Though he did also try to frame mc for sleeping with her which is a whole other can of worms.

overall, I would say I like him more this chapter and I am curious what mc will do next. He’s basically a god in this world. Why go home? But if he has to go home, maybe he can find a way to leave his familiars behind to protect the city from monsters.

oh and I’m still getting a weird vibe that he‘ll marry the princess who summoned him somehow (He did already spy on her naked and pee on her).

back when he framed her for wetting the bed. (when i saw the raws i thought he just poured water on her lol). Definitely petty, but she deserved that and worse and it was a fun way to make her go nuts

as for the rest of it, this feels right on the edge of being awful and disgusting but the circumstances work to kinda thread the needle. town lord is absolutely disgusted that he has to pull this off, and the daughter legitimately likes him. if either of those factors were different, this would be an incredibly vile scene (daughter forced by her father who happily offers her up to the hero) but the circumstances at least make it a bit morally gray
