I can accept a degree of them trying to trap him he is functionally an aircraft carrier in a world where they still use coal powered ships. Kento needs to assert himself more and decide and be clear about those decisions on what he wants to do going forward. Sounds like that's where it's going so I'll wait and see.

Dude needs to basically bring peace to the harem by establishing it to then be able to get on with everything else it seems.

Gotta agree that mc's indecisiveness is just causing problems for everyone. Kinda doubt the girls would mind a harem, though its still a bit unclear what he's gonna do moving forward. If he goes back home, then he can't stay with the adventurer girl or the lord's daughter, but if he stays, his classmate would need to stay behind too. He'll probably make the decision once he learns if he can go home or not.

Normally I would agree with this plan of action but this comes across as straight up kinda psychopathic behavior, for most people it's just being angry but since he has god powers if he's willing to go this hard after being pushed around his whole life it gives me the vibe of a person that snapped and will keep pushing boundaries (and who could even stop them). Anyways didn't like him before for being a bitch, don't like him for this because this is snapping in the stupidest way.

• He suffers from deep Abandonment Issues stemming from his broken home (which should be touched upon in 47.2).
• He suffers from post-traumatic stress from being devoured by goblins, with the most common trigger being gore.
• And, well, he's a 15 year old given tremendous power.

I feel like there is really few people that try to actually help the kid, and i get it, we all have a personal agenda and is the reason why get with some people and distance from others... that being said, they should realize that they are pushing a human to the limit of annoyance... even now i try to remember all the girls that are after him and every single one of them seems a new set of problems waiting to happen...

I have strange feelings about this. The dad is trying to offer up his daughter to incentivize mc to stay which should make him scum, but he hates doing it, he’s doing it for his people, and it’s what his daughter really wants which kinda makes pairing mc up with his daughter commendable. Though he did also try to frame mc for sleeping with her which is a whole other can of worms.

overall, I would say I like him more this chapter and I am curious what mc will do next. He’s basically a god in this world. Why go home? But if he has to go home, maybe he can find a way to leave his familiars behind to protect the city from monsters.

oh and I’m still getting a weird vibe that he‘ll marry the princess who summoned him somehow (He did already spy on her naked and pee on her).

The subject of 'adaptation removing the edge from the work' is very valid, and I know of many cases (though I know of one manga where they added edge, Reincarnated Carrier's Strategy). One thing to keep in mind, is that often changes in a manga from a web novel happened in the light novel version first thanks to an editor.

The overwhelming majority of changes from the web novel to this manga, were to make the love interests look better. The remainder mostly consists of cutting poor quality subplots, and cutting Meisa's scenes. But there are two times they cut the edge out, both are right after the second time he rescued students:

The kobolds, who have been moving, stopped to drink water from a stream and took a rest.
The total number of them is 33, which is not enough for the planned 50, but I decided to make this pack my familiars.
The kobolds, who have taken a rest as they wish, are stabbed in the heart with a knife from the shadow world.
It's really like an assembly line because it's a kobold opponent who is still.
Basten asked me as I was killing the kobolds.
[ Kent-sama, why don't you use light-type attack magic? ]

There was also a scene where a lizardman familiar suggested killing Manon to make her a familiar, which Kent dismissed but then considered doing with Camilla. That was cut.
