It would be one thing if it was just that. If it was just that she tried to kill her and she was willing to delay her punishment for this, that's fine, but the dragon is still f-n out there. There is an immediate danger that she both caused and is vital to solving. Yeah, this was stupid, and I think that she herself is aware of that.
