I find it odd how many of these stories feature skills that are godlike with some effort, but never get recognized as more than it's base point. Do none of these folks ever try?

Nobody ever put effort into these abilities in the history of the world till now?

And I get that he needed 2000 years to master it, but still... It always seems weird how these abilities can be recognized as pure crap by everyone until the MC manages to put effort in or use creative thought and "oh my, suddenly it is good".

I'm overthinking it, but it is the core concept of alot of these.

So far there is no real explanation why that skill have to exist, if it's that bad why the MC was saddle with it. Especially in the world with god as well. Why would god create skill that would burdened people like that.

I would say this is just basic world building for the sake of the plot and wasn't "logiced" things out like good writers would do.

Nope. No, they do not. Which is really the driving plot point of many of these stories. People gauge the usefulness of a skill by how easy it is to learn, to use, and to blow something up. The powers that be are too spoiled to put in the work to truly think about how to maximize and exploit any skill. Even crafting skills, like a couple of stories where the children of lords are thrown away before they're even 12, just because their skills are related to building infrastructure instead of combat, then in less than a year, the remote village in the wastelands where they were exiled becomes an impregnable fortress thanks to them.

On that note, we already know what the likely outcome will be.

Okay, so this adaptation is going to paint-by-numbers for something between 15 and 40 chapters, and then just abruptly end (because it lost its customers), with a suggestion that if we want more (G_d help us!) then we should read the light novel.

I would guess that since he said his siblings are there, and they were the 2 people that directly tried to kill him, he figured it would be the quickest way to find them, but if this school thing last more than a few chapters for him to run into them and crush them into the ground for trying to kill him, it would just be dragging the revenge so it can do the same by the numbers school arc that 95% of isekai and fantasy series do. At least he is starting with the people that tried to kill him first so we don't have to deal with 90 chapters of their plots delaying him from taking them out.

Wow, shit went from 0 to 100 pretty damn fast. You sound like a supervillain. O.O
While I'm also tired of these school settings, it takes a born tyrant to go from "My family killed me" to "I'm going to eradicate millions of innocents" or "I'll fix the world by force".

At some point, Japanese popular fiction will have a hero who can defaecate any tool or substance of his choice, so long as he has an equal mass in his colon, and his will be the strongest power.

MC using rocks and stuff to fight him would really just be to showcase he can do stuff and torment him, he can literally just stop his limbs.
Honestly telekinesis is super scary because even if you can only move a cubic cenitmeter it would be enough to kill anyone, pinch a vein or fiddle with the brain and bam, won, the only limit on it is the user imagination.
I remember in Zettai Karen Children they made a original anime episode that had one guy with super weak telekinesis using it as a vigilante against criminals, his power was not revealed by instruments for how weak it was, but it was enough to make him able to stop people by breathing after much training, simply blocked the part in the throat that closes when someone eats or drink.
