I'm still not sure what to think about this manga...

I mean the promise at the start showing he was some masked anti-hero like figure wielding kingdom destroying power fighting an army while proclaiming loudly he had the weakest skill and now we're just doing an tournament arc in an academy setting where we already know the MC has maxed out his powers already so he's already at that kingdom destroying power level. But he's playing house and will likely keep doing so for at least a few dozen more chapters with also likely some romcom elements and I understand by now that this seems to be the plan of the author.

But really, it just makes me think that we're stuck on the sidequest like it's the main quest and by the time we get back to the actual main quest, we'll have already gone through 80% of the manga.

Calling it now, the author will never have the MC fight an army. It was just a way to suck in readers and will never be followed up on, I guarantee it.
