Anime: IMO quality wise, anime is on par with the manga. As for complaints about CG monsters... They're fine IMO. (And given how strange looking the monsters are in the story, CGI is pretty much mandatory.) (Incidentally, I think that the LN is better than both manga and anime. Mostly because it goes into more depth.)

People who like the manga should at least try the anime if they can.

i droped the anime on ep 1 because of those monster, they are just too ugly hahahah

I thought the anime was garbage (or af least not very good). Too much cgi which looked REALLY bad. Lazy ass animation (they really cut corners) then again not like this is a good manga either, entertaining enough sure but not much else, typical jp chuunibyou revenge 'porn'. Which again is entertaining enough so that's good enough for me personally 😁.

yeah there are a lot of slasher movies like this and some revenge stories too, but this one is kind mid in this sense not having much gore and with little fan service (comparing to most of revenge manga/anime i saw)

Because he didn't quote the right words for emphasis; it's "revenge porn", two words as a single phrase, not " revenge 'porn' ", following on the heels of the concepts of "torture porn" and "gorn/gorno" (for "gore" and "porn/porno" being merged into one word) that have nothing to do with sensuality or eroticism that we associate pornography with, but about the gratuitousness of the concept being referred to, as pornography is not just sex but gratuitous sex, so it's that concept of gratuitousness that is being referred to when words are connected with "porn".

Though, that said, in the case of "revenge porn" here, it's meaning this specifically rather than its other meaning, which is porn illegally released by one or more of the members of a relationship that has broken down, either as blackmail or to lash out at the other party or parties, as if in revenge.

I'm waiting for the moment when the Goddess and her pawns really betray Sogou. You can tell the goddess wants Sogou to struggle, hope and finally fall into despair. Maybe it will be the trainer that causes it.

Hoping MC will show up at some point to bring Sogou to his side.

It was interesting at first but, at some point, characters you don't really care about suffering through pinch after pinch just becomes more irritating. A solid 5/10 for now.

That's a shame that it got the trash isekai anime treatment of let's take popular isekai, give it no budget, and just expect fans to consume it.

It's a pincer attack with golden monsters attacking from the south and the demons attacking from the north. Reasonable to guess that the demons somehow instigated the monster attack, since the monsters normally stay in their own area.

Human faced monsters are just the higher level monsters.

Orc looking mobs are demons.

MC is (somewhat coincidentally) heading towards this battle group, but doesn't know about the pincer attack, he's just expecting to join in fighting demons as a mercenary. (Because elf-girl wants to help Princess Cattleya.)
