Generally speaking, these split chapters aren't because the scanlation team chose to do it that way, it's because they were originally released that way.
LH have been posting a lot of different series' chapters split like this, which they didn't use to do. Hell, if you scroll down a bit on this one's chapter list, you'll see they weren't posted in parts up until chapter 36, then 37 was a single one, and then back again to splitting. If I have to guess, they want to increase their website's traffic or something with double chapters, otherwise makes no sense to split them instead of waiting to post the whole thing, whether they're originally split or not, I at least think it's annoying.

They ARE splitting them. There is no "to be continued" or other kinds of text signaling it's the last page of the chapter, like in a regular chapter. It's obvious when you compare the first and second half of previous chapters.

Before commenting garbage, bother yourself clicking the official raw link in the manga page and check how they are published, most of the series they do with splits are published like that, whether a split have "to be continued" or not that depend on the publisher, only group that actually do split a chapter is GDS afaik (which they always do with new series only for the 1st chapter, just to mark them)
I don't think they're the ones cutting up the chapters. Getting released in half chapters or less has become increasingly common.

That's fair, that's fair. Still, what I don't really get is why post them separately instead of waiting, they literally posted part 1 yesterday, might as well have waited until today and post the whole chapter at once if they didn't have part 2 already translated.
