Rather than Goddess's, I think it's game's. Specifically traditional RPGs.

Her buff/debuff seem to be just stat buffers/debuffers mainly, which in most games can be applied to boss (for example debuff to make boss take more damage/do less damage)

Whereas Mimori's abnormal statuses are generally so powerful that most games make bosses immune to them (for example stun is a common CC used in games but almost every game give boss stun immunity to avoid people just chain CC it to death)
Some ppl differentiate it as hard and soft CC, depending on how much it affects someone’s ability to do something. So stun is hard cc because it outright prevents enemy actions, while poison would be a soft cc since it usually only makes you take chip dmg in games.

Amusingly in FFXIV, you CAN stun minibosses and low-lv dungeon bosses (up to Lady Amandine, the final boss in Haukke Manor, and the only boss you can’t stun in Haukke Manor). It’s a carry-over from the ARR days, so reworked early dungeons (currently only Halatali) gets the no-stun bosses, per current standard.

After bobbing my head around like an infant trying to stay awake, I was forced to remember how stupid all of these people are. The goddess looked down on everyone like trash yet she went out of her way to dispose of the most “useless” person…. You only do that to people that are a threat to you… She literally gets off watching people die struggling.

lmao she was AAALMOST on the spot but the thing is she bought the Goddess' bulshit so she really thinks Toka's skills are shit and the thing is she never even saw HOW it worked to judge it as such.
No, I think it's the opposite. It's definitely implying that she suspects that Mimori's skills weren't trash. Her own skills are buff/debuff which are similar to Mimori's abnormal status skills. And she raises questions about whether the skill rating as a straight grading curve is accurate. And since she also doesn't trust the goddess, she might well suspect that goddess got rid of Mimori because his skills weren't weak.

Also the point of her throwing that small stone (I think to stop the big pillar from falling) implies that "even something weak can be strong if used in the right way".

"Mad Emperor" here is "Wildly Beautiful Emperor" in LN. ... Strange translation discrepancy.

As per my post from last time... Although this mentions him fighting in Magnar (Nort of the continent), his kingdom is in the SW of the continent. (Fighting forces from all over the continent were moved north to fight the demons.)

She knows.

Looks like she has the highest chance of defecting and joining the MC's side. There's no way she'll follow the goddess if she finds out she might be disposed of once they complete the mission and defeat the demons.
But at the same time, if she's joining MC, she's the most likely to betray him if things go south.
She wants the members of her team (not all the classmates) to be on the winning side at the end.
It's hard to trust people like her.

I wouldn't say so. The goddess could have done it to simply set an example: if you aren't good enough or train enough, you will die. She hasn't exactly tried to appear as a benevolent being in front of the summoned students. Later she also planned for the weakest students to be pruned, but Sogou wanted to protect the weakest ones, no matter what, which amused Vysis, so she let it slide, hoping it would actually push Sogou to get stronger.

I suppose it comes down to how arrogant Vysis is about her abnormal status immunity. If she's not, she definitely would want to get rid of Touka before he gets stronger. If, however, she believes she's completely safe, she shouldn't care all that much. It seems like if she did believe those skills are useful, she would have tried to put Touka to good use against her enemies.

Vysis is pragmatists to a fault, so pruning the students, which could/would become liability in the future, makes perfect sense for her. Also, she let it slip because Sayaka was disobedient to her from the very beginning and sort of failure among the S-ranks, so letting Sayaka killed while protecting these weak students was convenient way for Vysis to get rid of her.

I'm not sure Vysis truly wanted an S class hero to die. While Ayaka is annoying in Vysis's eyes, being a goody two-shoes, it's not like she would be difficult to use. Although Vysis couldn't care less about the lives of individual people, she still needs to maintain the human domain against the demons and monsters. It's not that difficult to use Ayaka in such a battle: Vysis needs to do nothing but send the weaker students to a battlefield. Ayaka would automatically follow, to keep those students from dying. Extremely simple. Even simpler than using the more arrogant students. The only difference is that Ayaka pissess off Vysis, while she likes the scumbags. But since she enjoys watching the suffering of all humans, it's not so bad for her because Ayaka will certainly suffer when any student dies.

Because you think everybody are happy to get their lives handled by Vicius ?
Seras chose Touka's side for a good reason : she was behind Neah Empire's fall.
Seras is a small player in the grand scheme of things, but if you pay a close attention to what side characters say, you'll see a big player who's not that happy with Allion governing the world.

Soooo...

now I know why she also deflected, that was the piece of the puzzle I was missing, and yeah... Everyone you think could change sides, does. The sisters, the class rep, this duplicitous bitch and the bullied girl

I don't understand people who complain about a manga showing characters other than the MC. Would you want to watch/read Star Wars or LotR if every scene without Frodo or Luke were cut out? Sometimes other characters are important to the story.

To be fair, watching a movie with all the side characters cut out would be kind of funny (Greg Miller) like those videos of basketball games with all the sound cut out except the sneaker squeaks. But I wouldn't want to do it regularly.

I only watch female tennis, but only without the image, I don't see the problem.
