As a PC user, I click the link and a website appears with the comic, nothing to do with any app.

The programing, layout, and the special scripting loaded on that link, makes it's obvious it's intentionally made for the app, and had a piss poor Port-job or "adapting" to the webpage layout. Fundamental coding/scripting of the "website" is not optimized for pc usage. you "can" use it, but anyone with basic coding, design fundamentals will see this.
if they are going to charge prices, the basic UI layout should at the very LEAST, be equal in quality to any free site.
ie, dropdown menus close where they disappear unless scrolling up/down all the way if you click/scroll the wrong way
,comments , while visible on webpage, are indeed restricted to the app, thus now has something to do with the app
,and while minor, there's multiple areas the layouts is column formatted as if up/down scrolling on a phone, leaving large empty sections.
So while I don't mind companies doing official translations and providing a value resource for authors to expand to new platforms, I do judge them to provide a product that standards begin at the quality of free sites to begin with. and not a hand-me-down coded/programing/layout/access that just has a bad UI that screams "mobile device" instead.
