It's says 'her smile' several times, when refering to the protagonist who is male. Should be 'his' afaik.

Nice for the quick fix. The fix is still wrong though. You should have used "his" not "him."

not much really, just the detailed world building that will probably be shown in a form of flashback later in the manga. I mean, how else will you condense 13 chapter to only 2 chapter

Though i do say the character dynamic is kinda different too. If in the manga Emma is someone who goes with the flow since she is used to MC's antics, the novel Emma is someone who is constantly concerned with her friend who keeps making enemy with the nobility and can't get used to it (at least in the early chapters)
