Ngl, even after finished reading this for months, I keep re-read this chapter just for the FEEL of the reunion between them after countless hopeless situations. And then crying inside with them.

Edil's mind was destroyed, but he was able to pull off one last move against Mikaros for Hyura and backed off of Azudora when Hyura told him to wait.

Alicia had her mind broken but repeated interaction with Helck gave her the stimulus needed to resist transformation.

Like Mikaros, you're underestimating the strength of human willpower.

Im just pedantic, dont say "her mind was destroyed" when "some stimulus" can bring her back. Her mind was not destroyed. But it sounded more dramatic.
