I'm kind of disappointed Edil lost his wings. However, this chapter doesn't really tell if he lost his awakening as well. Helck and Cless have (more or less) normal human bodies on the outside, so being awakened can't be judged based on that. Edil definitely did awaken, even if he needed the push, since he retained his wits far better than any other artificially awakened, to the point of not wanting to hurt Hyura even after Mikaros seemingly detroyed his mind. So, simply returning him the human body shouldn't automatically take away his hero powers, at least all of them. If it did, however, I don't see as good a future for him and Hyura together. We know for a solid fact Hyura only respects the strong, and a regular human would never be that for her, apart from mentally. However, trying hard only goes so far when years go by. It might keep her amused for a while, but not in the long run. If Edil remained a hero, even without the wings, things would be totally different. He could keep up with Hyura, and that would be all she needs.
