Honestly the idea that he levels up slower than everybody else is a little absurd to me considering how basically he leveled up faster than anyone else excluding the people on his party.

He was, untill this chapter, factually the highest level being we have ever seen.

he can also like, oneshot anything.

Like every since scene has been shown where his party were a debuff for him, because if he just bum rushed enemies with virtually infinite summons, what are they even going to do?

He doesn't one-shot anything S-rank or above. In direct combat he'd lose against Dogora or Krena despite his higher lvl due to his lack of combat skills. He'd win if he used his summons, but definitely not by one-shotting. Also infinte summons? Where are you getting that? He can only maintain a maximum of 80 summons at a time (90 now that his summoning skill has reached lvl 9), and even among them very select few can go through kingification or deputization. And although he can technically restore his summons without any resource limit, it still takes time to synthesize and strengthen them for higher ranks. The only reason he gains exp so fast is because he can share the exp among his summons. So as long as his summons are constantly grinding (which btw is one of the reasons why he left some of his party members behind in the S-rank dungeon WITH Merus). He can literally grind exp while sleeping.

Nope lol. Merus can only summon directly from Allen's collection, if Allen himself only has 80 summons, where would Merus summon double of that from?
