Either the translation is pretty bad, or the author just literally has zero idea about simple stuff.
A horse drawn carriage goes from one city coastal city to the nearest one in 1 month.
On the other side or continent thorough a single month 3/4th of the continent has fallen to demons.
So basically the Elves were losing territory at the three times the speed of a horse drawn carriage, including battles, reorganization, scouting, sieging, plundering.
Why is it said like this? Was it a simple mistranslation before? Maybe a carriage was supposed to go a week instead of a month?

At this point the things that I don't understand I just ignore and I read it only to see how more ridiculous it will become.

Someone previously explained it in a spoiler, but to paraphrase it:

There's 2 systems being talked about.

First him mentioning hell mode. Basically at lower 'difficulty' you level faster but also have lower level cap which limits your max power. He was asking to let his friends switch to his Hell Mode which have no level cap, and if not that at least higher difficulty for higher cap (most/all of his allies are capped before the news of war arrived)
Sadly god said not possible.

Second is the class rank/stars. Higher stars means access to more OP powers like Kureha's berserk.
This was something locked from birth and MC asked that his friends be allowed to rank up at the cost of resetting exp to lv 1 if they can reach level cap (also only for those present so the dwarf girl will miss out)
The god said ok with conditions but MC points out to the party that the conditions were 'only up 1 star' and 'not making them 5 stars' so a way to interpret that is they can repeat the rank up until 4 stars (hence Cecil and Sophie's excitement)

Obviously MC being 8 stars (in that page there's Hero and Demon King at 5 stars btw) means this doesn't apply to him, so instead god will give his sister a 1 star talent.

It seems like the author forget the rank-up for the characters, I am actually at chapter 50 and it seems they have not rank-up

And of course you're not allowed to start in normal mode, reap all the easy leveling benefits and then switch Hell Mode at level cap and continue with the penalties 60 levels in what are you smoking?

Also wtf was that Demon Lord slip-up? Early reveal? Also why the fuck is the God playing around negotiating with the gifts when the elves are about to be exterminated to extinction? Does he not care that by not allowing the races to further level up by default he's dooming them to being wiped out by the demons
