I really enjoyed that! What a thing to come back with after more than a decade away! Huh. I wonder if we'll see more from them soon. Also, I wonder if the time away was related to the previous oneshot's plagiarism or unrelated.

Edit: Actually, they had a oneshot in 2016 in Jump GIGA that wasn't listed on Manba (so I initially missed it), so it wasn't a 13-year gap after their plagiarized oneshot; it was only 6 years. Well, 6 years is still a long time, tho, so I wonder if there was an aftereffect from the plagiarism after all. One Japanese netizen seems to think as much. That getting a oneshot at all was being given a 2nd chance.

Another case of great artwork ruined by awful storytelling. How anyone can enjoy this boring ass story that‘s been told millions of times, is beyond me. Then the awful fanservice too, japanese incels smh.

The industry needs to force mangaka to work in pairs. It‘s very obvious that most mangaka are only artists, not authors. So create an environment where artists have to work with actual authors, who can tell a great story.
