Though it's been a while since I've read this part of this novel I feel like some stuff has been changed (possibly for the better).
In the novel Harij had zero awareness of Rose as a woman until he happened to see her bathing in the lake like she was at the end of the last chapter (though in the novel she was actually naked). I never particularly liked that development because it did really feel like Harij had no interest in Rose until he saw her naked and then suddenly his attitude did a 180. I guess I'm not alone in feeling that way because it seems to have been changed in the manga. We sorta had the bathing scene except Harij didn't see her and now it appears that he's starting to look after her already which I'm pretty sure didn't happen in the novel until after that incident. So I guess that incident isn't going to happen in the manga.
He thought Rose was a old woman... And I'm pretty sure Harij was already starting to look after her even before he saw her bathing in the lake. In the first place, that incident happened when Harij was on his way to give Rose some freshly baked bread, since he's worried about the old witch who has only been consuming lettuce (which leading to him accidentally seeing her bathing in the lake, and finding out that she's not a old woman but actually a young woman). Him being worried and buying that bread for her (even before he saw her naked lol) shows that he already have a interest in her...
I'm guessing that incident will still happen, since that happened right after Harij found out about her eating habits. Honestly, I prefer if they leave that incident out or if they'll include it anyway at least let her not be naked. xD
Her expression at the end was so sad, poor darling... also if she did a blood test the results would be horrifying; she's basically on panda and koala levels on lack of nutrition, no wonder she doesn't have energy to clean.
