Hmm, I doubt it'll get as serious/sad as it seems rn, especially given how happy Sakiko seems in the present. But I imagine the issue between Sakiko and Chika is something like 'they like each other TOO MUCH' so they're scared of being in an official relationship or something. I mean, they already can't help getting affectionate outside in plain view, so it can get them in trouble.

With that said, I'm gonna focus on how Chika is the absolute best and how Minato just keeps getting cuter.

This chapter SOMEHOW turned just as good as the last one, another 10/10. I laughed my ass off at several points and even just seeing Minato imagine her and Hibiki together made me so happy.

And this solidifies Chika as best character (and best girl) so far. Fucking damnit: perfect looks, interesting personality AND plays the goddamn bass.

Also, none better character than her to have a face to face with gay angst in the case of Minato... I hope this conversation makes them both grow out of their comfort zones and do something about their relationships. ^{Minato is kinda in luck tho, Ema hinted last chap. that it may be reciprocal! As a musician tho, I'm kinda scared. It is in my own experience that relationships between members can (And sometimes will) pretty much destroy the band in the future for bad or worse... If that's the excuse for not officially dating I would understand it... Except they are fucking and at least one of them is holding really strong feelings for the other. So, DATE ALREADY GODDAMNIT and whatever happens afterwards, happens.

Personally I prefer @WhereTheYuriAt 's theory tho.

I haven't looked up so much to a flashback chapter in a while! This series is doing a lot of stuff right compared to it's "competitor" in the run for "more important ongoing yuri about music" because author is trying to get to the point without making it feel forced.

@Raknasuu tbh, I don't even think Chika and Sakiko are having sex. I think she just said that to Minato to shock her, cause that's just how Chika rolls (also, she said "I don't know what else to call it", meaning that it's not literally "fuck buddies"). She wants to seem like more of a badass than she is (she certainly looks the part, so it helps), cause in the past we've seen that Sakiko is the actual top in the relationship. But they are already dating pretty much, they are shown to constantly hang out, act like a couple, they kiss, they say they love each other aloud, what else do you need? They just don't wanna admit it, cause, again, they're afraid to (two soft-hearted badasses).

And I'm gonna go on a limb and make some more predictions: Chika and Minato are gonna start being very buddy buddy with each other in the future and it's even gonna turn into a bit of a joke with Hibiki, Sakiko and Ema looking at each other and going "what the hell happened? When did these two get so friendly?" and then Chika and Minato just laughing about it.
