Editor's note (belated): "Milvian Bridge" was an inference from the obviously Byzantine/Greek shields in the painting, which proved to be completely wrong.
"Alexander Anderson" as the letter signee is an egregious error. And Maxwell uses "fall" instead of "autumn," but this can be excused because he is an Italian who may have picked up any number of Americanisms. Plus, it fit better in the box.
The whole tour group scene was tweaked to make it read funnier in English; standards were lower back then. Apologies.
Alucard refers to the False Peace = the Pax Romana, and betrayers of the Law = the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, or so I read it.
Anderson using the King James rather than Douay-Rheims translation is another error, but one committed due to the greater linguistic power of the former.
