Completely missed the hints towards another person in the early posts as well as the possibility that he deleted posts, interested to see if that evolves into a overarching plot like the other story. Also, looks like me and Pagemistress was correct on the optical illusion bit but its cool to see how the characters are deciphering it cause it seems hella different.

Slightly less confusing than the house one (not sure how they're related yet) but wonder if there are IRL blogs like this , i know one 'office worker' blog got into a jdrama but more lighthearted/silce of life
(I wonder if JP has an equivalent of webarchive but idk how many ppl would bother keeping that data)
Eva ref, i still haven't seen it but i know some screenshots/memes. Seen the duck/rabbit photo but not sure what 'optical illusion' the sketch of the girls head would also be
maybe the plot twist is the glasses boy is the 'third person' if not someone related or 'i knew this family and am trying to find the third person who did something to my friends'

A classic optical illusion. The ear and necklace of the young woman can be seen as the eye and mouth of an old woman, with her chin as a really big nose.

Hen na E is more like anthology or collection of mysteries than one overarching plot. All of the mysteries having something to do with pictures of course.
I mentioned this in the comment thread for Hen na Ie, but Kurihara is functionally the author's self-insert acting as the "detective" in the mysteries, hence why he often has all (or nearly all) the answers ready while the protag (whether "I" in Hen na Ie or "Sasaki" in here) has to reach the answers step by step.
"Yuki and Ren were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me."
"Baby looked at you? Sasaki, get me Kurihara!"

All the hints so far led me to the conclusion that the wife was having and affair with this mysterious third person, and the husband eventually found out and crashed out. Oh good lord, was the answer to the mystery ntr all along? Don't look at me like that, I hate ntr just as much as you do! It's not my fault, it's society's fault!

Ha, the cake cutting was actually relevant. So the wife might be in a sort of co-dependent relationship with her mom who got her to die by going to a cooky midwife (is the training to move a breech baby actually a thing?). One would think that just getting a C-section would have been the way to go from the beginning, which I thought what "perfect prep" actually meant. Prepping for a planned caesarian.
