Hrm... I wouldn't know about that for sure. I mean, they definitely share a lot of the same tropes, but one of the key things missing here is that men aren't being treated like second-class citizens in this world.

And really, I think this one is the better story for it, because in the other one it just kinda winds up being forgotten about in the wake of the MC's Big Dick Energy.

In my opinion the story goes pretty off the rails. IIRC Like the crown prince (I think?) turns out to be super chuuni after getting all his hair burned off. The Brave family is so hardy they were exiled to the frontier that was absolutely contaminated by demonic energy because the original Brave had a falling out with his colleagues over the barrier and sacrificing the first Saintess. Our exiled villainess is a descendant of a white dragon that fell in love with the first Brave but ultimately couldn't marry. So she founded her own family to support the Braves in the far future.

And yeah, the barrier protecting the country is maintained by sacrificing Saintesses. The girl that has taken OG heroine's place is planning to destroy the kingdom for being built on that. She has a hatred for men that extends all the way back into her first life because they are slaves to the brain downstairs. She literally doesnt care about anyone or anything except making sure OG heroine is not sacrificed. She doesn't care if millions of others die. Even if someone is dying in front of them she walks on by like they're insects once she is able to drop the pure girly girl act. Which is also something she hates and only does because men fall for it.

And somehow there is a demon or something secretly behind the kingdom that resurrects using the royal family(?) MC gets beheaded by it but being a Brave, that doesnt even kill him...

Yeah, it gets wacky.

Oh man this is slowly getting more and more fucked. I’m guessing she went hard on this game, and knows all of the little idiosyncrasies for all the male leads. Probably aiming for the harem ending.

I love how this started off pretty adorable and sweet and then it starts going off the deep end as soon as the enemy heroine is introduced.

Yeah I remember the head thing that plus how the MC acted with what happened to the prince, it's like whatever gotta save my woman. Sometimes feels like MC doesn't have a soul, or at least his level of caring for those other then his heroine is very small
