This is a fantastic concept! It builds off of the cliche otome game storyline but I've never seen anything about afterwards.

Hmmm it has potential, the isekai bit was cringy (I got smacked by a orc and remembered i was japanese and this was a game!) but the story is just a tiny bit different than the usual isekai otomes, the villainess has already got her bad ending but maybe it wont be so bad after all.

read the novel, it's a fairly good read.

the whole Otome game thing feels uneccesary though and draws a lot of unneeded comparisons to a certain other story

Ok, I'll bite.
A vilainess with a twist to it, let's see where the author will be going with this one.

I read the novel (it looks too be close to being completed). It started good but got mid. Mc makes this OP hero genre instead of Otome villainess.

Pro: no harem, no incest, not brain dead mc (except for matters regarding duels).

Con: gets silly toward the end; mc wanting to be dog on a leash trope; SPOILERS: my pet peeve "villain was good person with a plan all along" trope

Reincarnation into a game is the most stupid idea, and it is showing no sign of stopping, but other than that, this seems rather well formed as a story.

I think it's funny that they treat scars as if they ruined the face when the artwork only shows a blemish on the face, I remember Todoroki in My Hero Academia who only has a little red spot that doesn't affect his prince face at all while in Avatar we have a better representation of a real scar on Zuko where it doesn't just blemish his face, it makes the side of the scar always have a more closed eye, it even looks swollen which actually changes his appearance, it looks like a real scar not a scar make-up like in these works.
I remember watching memes from several manhuas and manhwas, were just having a mole or freckles are something that automatically considered to make a character completely and totally ugly or unnatractive, and also a page one from one manga where the mc has a scar the size of a fingernail, and despite that being pretty irrelevant he is told by one teacher that he should start considering that scar probably would ruin his future and everything, since according to their shtty way of thinking that everything is based on looks and even the slightest irrelevant mark supposedly detracts from it, so I think they are going with the "beauty is never tarnished" kinda trope, since her having a more prominent and deformed scar like Zuko, maybe would turn off japanese readers, since probs they couldn't think of her as a female main character heroine for the story according to current beauty standards way of looking at things.

The isekai angle is almost, but not quite irrelevant. It's being used in much the same way that old myths used the idea of fate, as an uncaring force that mortals cannot fight and dooms them to tragedy. In this case, the game's plot says that she should become possessed and destroy the country, and the protagonist doesn't know if he can save her. It's interesting, but I wish it had been brought in more gracefully.

As others have said, I wish the scar was actually disfiguring her instead of just shading part of her face. Also it's a bit odd for the story to feel so light when this fifteen-year old has lost all his family and many of his servants to violent attacks.

I'm in for any "I can fix her" manga, and I hope it doesn't lose its way.

I was a bit cautious going into this story, as we have seen so many versions of this has out, but this seems to at least be a new take on a well tread path. I like it quite a bit with the few chapters so far.
