i really like the world exploration and fables as it gives the world alot of unique flavour. We still in the set up to something bigger with the sword and i wonder what it is.

Bard truly a man of culture. He is a nerd, knowing the myth of the twin moons, and thus got his priority straight (y)

So if Bard and Gordon aren't there, the knights would just burn her house and kill her even though all they really did was go "hey look, this woman looks completely fine instead of dying of deadly disease"? If so, I don't think I can help but despise the knights in this case for blindly obeying orders like this.

If the doctor at least attempts to lie and misused his authority on her there and then, maybe I'll sympathize with them more, but right now? Fk them.

Yeah, I mean, I get them coming out in force on the report of dead ash disease, ready to do what needs to be done... But wouldn't you send someone in (masked or whatever they think back then would help protect them, maybe just keeping distance) to confirm the sickness, or at least that something looks bad, before just straight murdering people on a single report?

Unless it was something done as a favor for a political/rich 'friend', or if there's an -ism in play (racism, sexism, nationalism, etc), most any government would still look into stuff like this as "dude may be lying or mistaken".
