Well damn. Her situation is depressing

Before the father was alright. It was super weird that he somehow got married even though he was blind (and he married a beauty at that) but at least he wasn't a piece of shit. Now though... Cheong has been begging and stealing for 8 years, 8 years in which he might have not done anything at all. Sure, he might be sick, but if he was sick, he would have died ages ago. Being blind is absurdly hard even in a developed country, but this guy could have learned an instrument and play it here and there to earn some money. He could have learned how to make pottery, or things you can do while sitting. It would take a long time to create pretty things when you can't see, but it's possible... he could have done something, but he didn't and he is blaming his daughter even though she begged and stole to keep him alive? I'd say she has repaid him enough. She kept him alive for 8 years, he took care of her for the first 7 years of her life, so I'd call it even. Leave him alone and come back a year later to see if he finally died.
