Agreed. Ever since she's been introduced I have never liked Kyapi. She comes across as super pushy and disrespectful. Maybe that's not her intention, maybe she really does just want the best for Sera, but boy has she gone about it the worst way possible so far.

I particularly dislike how she essentially manipulated Sera into being almost codependent on her, essentially telling her this is the only path forward for her.

Neither her nor the sister are healthy presences in Sera's life.

The artist constantly framing Kyapi with villanous manga art paneling is sort of a meta foreshadowing that something isn't quite right.

as a supporter of Kyapi since day one, I think I need to rethink my support lol

I feel like now that Kyapi got Sera in her hands she's starting to show her true color more. I genuinely thought she meant well but now it feels more like she's using Sera as one of the "hook" to show how kind she is in order to attract more viewers.
And honestly that would have been kinda-fine(?), because most people don't go to such length to help someone without thinking of their own gains, BUT she's making Sera uncomfortable now and she's either oblivious or doesn't give a shit about how Sera feels as long as she gains more viewers, and that's shitty af.

that being said, let's still #prayforKyapi because while she may not be good, she still doesn't deserved to be stab and Sera definitely shouldn't stab people either, she gotta think of her image man!

I'm not sure why the author is trying to make Kyapi out to be a villain. Kira is clearly the real villain of the story. An example is the fact that every time Sera makes any progress toward being happy. Kira is there with a screwdriver ready to bring her back to depression. Kira is already in an Idol group the fact that Sera cannot do the same is hypocritical. If Kira actually wanted Sera to progress towards becoming an Idol she'd be next to her trying to help her become an idol together instead of "waiting" while doing everything in her power to prevent Sera from making that progress.

She literally doesn’t though, she still thinks that Sera is her cool and awesome older sister and that they’ll become a sister unit any day now, while being blind to the inadequacy and depression Sera is suffering from in reality.

I mean, Kira has a unit by herself too in making her steps forward, why can't Sera just do the same? Kyapi clearly knows what she's doing and it definitely works. It also does wonders to Sera's confidence.

There's the whole Sera dancing on the palm of her hands thing too, sure, but as far as a step forward to being a legit idol goes, it also counts….

I just wanna see Kira's unitmate get the can lol. Kyapi is defo setup to be the villain of the narrative, but that unitmate (can't even be bothered to remember her name) is the real thorn on everybody's side here.
