I don't understand why MC keeps these morons around. They've got nothing in their heads. "Oh, look, mystical animals and spirits, I'm sure I can just go ahead an eat and/or take and sell them." "Oh, look, a massive amount of swords, guess I'll just take them" - what are you, a fucking thief?
@Siikalahna they're comic reliefs, you're not meant to take them seriously...

@Siikalahna To be fair, every other chinese manhua MC is either a thief or a tomb raider. They're either taking belongings from a grave or plucking some fruit of nature to boost their cultivation. I don't understand why you're so triggered by this.
Heck, this is also a phenomenon you can observe in real life. Ever seen tourists (be they Chinese or otherwise) visit somewhere for the first time? They "pick up" some souvenirs to bring back home, this is literally the reason why many tourist spots have tons of "do not touch" signs put up. Otherwise, them tourists gon end up emptying their beaches or nature reserves.
