yeah this seems in line for typical tokusatsu stories. that said, a manga that is basically just a tokusatsu show plot is super fucking interesting lol. i really won't be surprised if it eventually completely stops being about the yuri romance and just focuses on the kaijin fights

i genuinely hate the author for making this goofy ahh yuri into a dark plot twist, words can't describe how much i hate them. like basically just focused on that storyline without killing and gore or whatever. this piss me off not gonna lie
