At least there's an "ending", just binged through a really great story that was extremely fun, unique and just begging for anime adaptation but it ended rather quickly, deserving at least 10 more chapters...

Am I the only one who thinks that the girl was never really interested in the emperor? It feels like she’s just going along with it, but she’s never enthusiastic about what he’s doing or happy to be spending time with him. Even when they’re together she’s just thinking about other things or people. It’s a one-sided romance in my book, pretty sad tbh.

I half expected Asmodeus to do a last minute pseudo(?) rape session as payment for tricking the dumb brother. But now that I think about it, they might have wanted to not end the promo on an NTR note, so as to not turn off would be LN buyers

I mean he fucks him in his sleep. She's a succubus essentially. Also, this was already Netorase for poor Caroline. Asmodeus fucked him after the first battle and MC had already declared his love for Carolina and she was clearly reciprocating it. But he has to fuck Asmodeus no way out if it, which is why he tries to use her power as little as possible...so yeah one way or the other, this is established Netorase for Carolina. Hopefully it remains in his dreams and she doesn't force a fuck in the material world 😂

RIP. Sad to see this one go so soon. The overt historical inspirations really made this kingdom builder stick out above the rest. Also loved that it was a multi-ethnic (multi-species?) empire, you don't see that enough in these types of stories.
