The pen is mightier than the sword.

And apparently the D is mightier than the pen AND the sword.

Holy shit!, That Machiavelli theory bias depiction was actually pretty accurate and logical (the prince that Machiavelli wrote was actually a sales pitch for the new lord-to get him hired) not to mention a real example why said theory was riddle with bias + counterargument why said theory might not work...

This manga is great!

I wonder how they'll adapt the manga going forward.
The latest LN Vol 2 came out in Aug 2019, and the WN just ended back in December 2020.

It’s nice to have another good world building type manga like this. When done right focusing on the political, military, and country repairing issues is really refreshing with just enough battles to shake it up. Can’t say I’m surprised that the first villain is a creepy muscle bound rape vibe guy though lol. Will be interesting to see how the MC wrecks him.

Looks like both the protag and the antag need to go to horny jail

But in all seriousness here are my thoughts so far, I think it looks great still a bit iffy on the isekai idea for this kingdom building comic. I do find it really cool that the fucking empire is literally just Rome western half fell the map of the empire is just Anatolia, North Africa, and Greece superimposed onto the manga.

I have a good feeling that the author is a history buff with real world parallels that's is often used for his protagonist's reasonings for the decisions he makes, sort of wish that the MC makes some grave errors or something sure basing things off of history is cool and all but historical figures and their decisions are constantly being scrutinized and accepted fact or what is seen as the moral or the best decision often changes in the eyes of future generations. Take the atomic bombings as an example or any sort of strategic bombing or "terror bombing" of cities

I am betting on it now, he looks scary, but he is a softy inside.

Could be wrong. But the only thing he did was grab the girl's shoulder and tell her not to worry.

Ofc, the bubble and the expressions indicate otherwise, but that could just be the author playing the con game.

I get why that maid is so frightened... his face is absolutely hideous it’s something you’d tell your children about to make them behave and not be naughty. Might even look like the monster in your closet or under your bed that nibbled on you toes when not under then blankets 0_0
