So this is Chinese but uses Japanese names for an English translation, but they've never been to Japan.. this is a real convoluted variation of the "I'm not good at English, he says while the manga is entirely in English" dilemma. Wonder how the Japanese dubbed anime is going to deal with that. Probably going to ignore that logic hole like in that infamous Cardfight Vanguard dub scene

"Seems to suffer from autism."

Myou doesn't look like he's suffering at all to me.

@Ceiye I used the japanese names because japanese names fit easier in english sentences then chinese
Ex:It's easier to say
Fuyuyu instead of dong dong
Myou instead of Amiao

I'm curious too about what the anime will do,it seems like they already changed the plot line a bit

Haha, their names are quite interesting in Chinese to be honest.
Daisu: 大树 Da Shu (Big tree)
Myou:阿淼 Ah Miao (its similar to the sounds cats make 喵)
Fuyuyu: Full name is 夏冬 Xia Dong, shortened to 冬冬 Dong Dong (read as Summer Winter)
Aoi Shuka: 金主 Jin Zhu (read as gold owner)

@uiyot that's actually adorable. Are their Japanese names relatively the same in terms of wordplay?(I'll watch it on billibilli if there are any differences)

Edit: I forgot bilibili's impossible to use outside of China orz oh well

@nohugs_ugh Daisuu and Myou are from the japanese dub, the rest were made up by yours truly(me)
And I intend to keep making new names for new characters!
If they somehow match with the japanese dub I will get a great sense of self-satisfaction too
