That particular kind of medal machine is apparently called a "pusher game" in English.
Either way smashing into it like that would tip over the near-avalanche of coins/tokes that is usually piled up at the tipping point, and would be seen as a blatant attempt at theft (and even if not it would be a lot of work to set it up to seem tempting to customers again).
