That was an awesome chapter! The humour felt just as sharp as ever, and I’m on the edge of my seat wondering how this will all play out. One thought that entered my mind was that the university they both wanted to enter was close to Sae and Hiro’s place. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they both got accepted and moved in with Sae and Hiro? Yes, I’m desperate for a happy ending!

The title is "Hidamari Sketch" because of Hidamari apartments. Once they go to college there's no more hidamari.

I’m pretty sure that at time of posting, this is the most recent chapter, or maybe like one behind the most recent. The series just came back from a fairly long hiatus, as Ume was (per her Twitter) dealing with health issues.

Sae really is the best. Unfortunately, she also doesn't always think things through. 😅
It's gonna be that Miya does get into that uni and Yuno does a whole chapter of worrying about it and just when she gets the courage to congratulate Miya out of her whole heart it turns out Miya won't go cause the poor girl is really just too poor. Of course in the last panel it turns out Miya secretly turned it down cause she doesn't want to get separated with her bestie.
