Historically, it is accurate/I believe there are military bases that station Americans in korea, tho they are going to china soon too (altho even if heat not a soldier a lot of Americans also go to Korea for work/a career)

There have been some webtoons where the mc visits Africa not always painted in the best light but I think some parts would be a bit realistic even if it might come off as slightly racist
