...I'm not sure how much that description can be trusted? We don't see the hero at the execution, just a few claims that he was involved. Later in the future he thinks she's an imposter, and perhaps that's why he's angry? Perhaps it's all just one giant misunderstanding?

Im dissapointed she is not dead by burning at the stake and reincarnated later to become like this.

This is fun. Not a death to relive story which is nice. Witches are fun too. From what I remember, the only confirmed case of a witch burning was once in France. Drowning and stoning is more common.

So used to male leads getting thrown into situations like this, it is kind of refreshing in that I'm hoping for something even more interesting to happen.

Started off with a clusterfuck, huh? Feel like i’d need more chs before i can see where this is going. Like, the premise can go either way here.

It's clearly a misunderstanding 😑😑 In the charges the officer was reading, nobody said the hero asked for this. It's probably just the church/temple/whatever who got mad about the kidnapping and executed her. While in truth the "hero" actually loved her a lot and turned into a monster out of revenge for that death.

Also there is incorrect translation. Translator please be more careful. Adele is actually thinking "I'm sure Reynold is even angrier than this" (than the citizens). As in, she assumed that Reynold must be angry at her for the kidnapping, and he must have been holding a grudge on her.

Minor difference, but it still changes the meaning of the text.
