Spoiler alert: That just means that if we receive a valid takedown request from the rights-holder, we'll just disable access to the content (yep, nothing more), and in some extreme cases the uploader might get their upload capabilities restricted (not a thing unless you try to flood the system intentionally).

So basically, you're still pretty safe uploading here...

Lets face it mangadex (and fan translations as a whole) are at best in a legal gray area, and are piracy at worst.

mangadex is just putting up boilerplate “we won’t protect you” legalese there. No other site will protect you either, and if the proper authorities come calling they will 100% throw you under the bus.

Doesn’t matter if it’s mangdex, comik, bato or any other of the aggregators.

It’s just the risk you take by distributing scans.

Just think what would have happened if they had been caught during the night or in the morning? It would have undermined the entire progress made the day before and jeopardized Sayu's stay with her mom.
