I'm maybe in minority, but i'm not interested in this memories arc at all. It essentially just repetition of original manga. Same Hidaka's thoughts, same events, even their dialogues are very similar. And original manga already stretched these repetitive introspections longer than necessary, to the point when it started to feel like dragging and page count fulfilling.
Just 1 or 2 chapters of key events from the past would be enough.
