the manga adaptation give more clearer hints than the anime

for example

Pg 11 where Rena react when Keiichi said about how that doll might get in piece is a hint on how Rena killed Rina and (probably) mutilated her body, and then Rena show how she can tie up the doll so good because she has done it before with Rina's corpse
