Huh. I’d started reading this serious with… low to no expectations, beyond "it’s completed" which as it turns out to be only halfway right; the publication is, the translation is not (due to no fault of the translators’ part). Guess I’ll have to put this series into the "on hold" category, since the chapters are short, and I’m frankly not too invested in the story to follow the releases as they’re being published.

That being said, I was halfway surprised that while the romantic entanglements are cute, they are also handled with a modicum of respect and care. The characters are still teenagers, mind, but given that they’re about 16-17 (Yuu just turned 17), they’re handling it suprisingly well.

Spoiler: Grades and ages in Japan (WP)

Japanese grades are defined by birth date, with the cutoff being April 1, so if you’re born on March 31 you will be always the youngest in your grade, while on April 1 you will always be the oldest. So given they’re in the second year of high school (upper secondary school, grade 11), everyone was 16 on April 1st (except for the poor soul whose birthdate is a joke), and their 17th birthday is during that school year.

Incidentally, Ichikawa (Dangers in my Heart) was born March 31, and the story is set during their 8th and 9th grade (so far), so he might still get a growth spurt… he hopes

She accepted the rejection 2 chapters ago. Last chapter, he said that he did so because her feelings are a waste. That's when she interjected to say that he doesn't get to decide her feelings for her. She asks again with that clarification this chapter. He rejected her again, now having that understanding. She accepts and makes sure he understands that, even if they don't date, she's still going to have feelings for him, to which he accepts.
It's NOT about dating. Move on from the dating, because that's not what's being talked about. It's about how she's allowed to have feelings for him even if they don't date and he has to accept that and accept that he doesn't get to decide how someone else feels.
I've tried to simplify this as much as possible for you that it has nothing to do with dating anymore. If you can't understand that after this, then don't even bother replying, because I can't simplify it any further.

Clearly, you're someone who just hates the character, thinks other people's feelings don't matter, and think it's ok to tell other people how they should feel. With such blatant disregard for other people, with such a toxic mindset, I can't imagine it's easy.

I am, at this point. I'm inclined moreso to believe sociopath, because I've never seen a troll put that much effort into making their argument seem convincing, or like they actually believe what they're saying.
