Honestly, I really really adore this manga. BUT... her speech had me teared up in the first half, but then last half stifled it a bit for me. It was great when she was speaking from her own experience and how her family still loved her. Then she went on and talk about the law and then get way too preachy in the second half, and it just feel a bit... too much. Should have left it at that.

Gonna follow and keep reading this though.

Ngl, this basic premise is kinda depressing, because it suggests that so many people are living like the protagonist pre-time jump, and genuinely think it's impossible to change after becoming an adult, and they're just stuck that way.

Stories like this always make me have a sense of dread - like she actually did die, and she really did never change, and this is their heaven, or a multi-verse version of themselves.

There was another comic with a similar concept as this, with a divorced, fired, hated father. It turned out he was living in a multiverse and ended up seeing all the possibilities of his life, before returning to his current life with a renewed purpose through the shift of perspective. I don't think I've read one that handled it as well as that - yet at least.

There are some good deep manga idk how many ppl say "this is life changing" Altho while not ideal to get certain advice from manga/fictional stories I wonder how many ppl have learned things on what to do/how not to handle situations

Like romcom shoujo manga being "frustrating " with misunderstandings and it being like "yeah don't be like this chara"

Reverse harem and romance tag I wonder if she'll actually end up with guy in the long run or simply regain confidence, get a decent job and made someone in that company or so bc while fun in fiction other than an adult series I don't think it'd end up with her having a harem right into adulthood too lol

While being a neet is common in Japan, other than some really good life insurance or housing/gov assistance (if not outright suicide), I'm surprised there's no psych/slice of life manga of someone who's a hikkikomori that has to deal with things after their parents die if they didn't already have some online side hustle where they don't have to leave their house to do their job

The speech is very preachy, but speaks from her heart. It’s embarrassing to say out loud, and yet she has the courage to do so. If it were any other character, I’d cringe (I did a bit here) but the feeling of her meaning every word gives it more impact I’d say.

I say if the guy before her time travel gave her a chance we would’ve gotten a bittersweet story of her being a better person regardless.

But yeah, I think it’s not an overnight thing, more like she had it in her all along, just not given the wisdom back then.

I understand that giving a big speech like that despite being a shut-in for most of her life is unrealistic. But allow me to play the devil's advocate, and point out that sometimes one can get unreasonably confident when talking to younger people, and she is mentally at least a decade older than everyone else in that class.
