Lol she thought Kanba was an outcast during grade school, in reality she had her own little chuunibyou world. She went overboard with the "I'm better than you kids" attitude, so she only had one actual friend.

So she toned down the edge while in school, I guess. But she still had those punk clothes up until the start of high school, so she was definitely still edgy at that point.

Also, Kanba was reliable right from middle school lol

On a separate topic, imagine thinking you did something wrong to your friend that you don't know about and made her dislike you.

Then during the entrance exams thought you were going to be friends again, only to be rejected again.

And after that, when you start high school, you meet your only friend from grade school and you start thinking it's your fault that your friend gets ostracized too so you distance yourself from him.

It really was a downward spiral from that point.
